Hello! I’m glad you’re here.
My name’s Kathi, I’m a geosciences student and gothic horror aficionado in romantic, dainty dresses. When I don’t wander about like Snufkin or dance in the woods listening to Stevie Nicks, I can probably be found dressmaking, with my nose stuck in a book or dream about galaxies far, far away. My melancholic soul is also very fond of the 19th century, especially enthusing about Frankenstein, Dostoyevsky, Bavarian/Austrian royality around 1850 and Romanticism a lot. You can also catch me adoring insects or the brilliance of Bryan Fuller’s work, notably Pushing Daisies. Other things I like include moomins, cats and minerals.

His eyes have a general expression of wildness, and even madness, but there are moments when, if any one performs an act of kindness towards him or does him any the most trifling service, his whole countenance is lighted up, as it were, with a beam of benevolence and sweetness that I never saw equalled.
– Mary Shelley, Frankenstein

“I’ll come when it suits me” said Snufkin, “perhaps I shan’t come at all. I just may set off in another direction entirely.”
