Hello! I’m glad you’re here.
My name’s Kathi, I’m a geosciences student aspiring to one day be a palaeontologist and travel the world discovering fossils. Besides natural history, I am fascinated by the 19th century especially Frankenstein, Dostoyevsky, Bavarian/Austrian royality around 1850 and Romanticism. When I don’t study, I like to go on journeys and wander near and far in dainty dresses or adventurer outfits made from linen. I have a passion for insects, Bryan Fuller’s work and horror stories. Other things I like include food, cats and lingerie.
I want to live, and I do live, even if it be against logic. Though I do not believe in the order of things, still the sticky little leaves that come out in the spring are dear to me, the blue sky is dear to me, some people are dear to me, whom one loves sometimes, would you believe it, without even knowing why; some human deeds are dear to me, which one has perhaps long ceased believing in, but still honors with one’s heart, out of old habit…
– Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Brothers Karamazov
His eyes have a general expression of wildness, and even madness, but there are moments when, if any one performs an act of kindness towards him or does him any the most trifling service, his whole countenance is lighted up, as it were, with a beam of benevolence and sweetness that I never saw equalled.
– Mary Shelley, Frankenstein

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
“I’ll come when it suits me” said Snufkin, “perhaps I shan’t come at all. I just may set off in another direction entirely.”
